Northwest Health - Starke to Host Community Meet & Greet with Knox Physicians
5/6/2026
Northwest Health invites residents in Starke County to meet a husband-and-wife physician team providing specialty care close to home. Whether you’re looking for a new provider or simply want to better understand the services offered locally, this event offers a chance to connect without having to travel outside the area.
Join Dr. Erika Pettis, an obstetrician/gynecologist, and Dr. Jaron Pettis, a general surgeon, at a Meet & Greet from noon to 1:30 p.m., Thursday, May 14, at the Knox Community Center, 55 E. Lake St. Light refreshments will be on hand at the free event, which will offer a relaxed setting to ask questions and connect with other members of the community.
A specialist in women’s health, Dr. Erika Pettis cares for patients through every phase of life, from adolescence through pregnancy and post-menopause. She recognizes that every woman’s needs are unique and takes the time to understand her goals and concerns, offering thoughtful solutions and clear answers. Dr. Pettis sees patients at Northwest Medical Group – Women’s Health, 104 E. Culver Road, Suite 102, Knox, as well as in her La Porte office.
Dr. Jaron Pettis recently began offering appointments at his Knox office at 402 W. Culver Road. A general surgeon, Dr. Pettis specializes in treating several health conditions, including conditions of the abdomen, digestive system, breast, skin and soft tissue, and endocrine system, as well as injuries from accidents and other critical situations. Dr. Pettis, who also sees patients in his La Porte office, understands that surgery can feel overwhelming, which is why he takes a personalized approach to care – including taking the time to answer questions and help patients feel more informed and at ease.
Both physicians completed their medical education at South Carolina School of Medicine in Columbia, South Carolina, and their residencies at Oschner Clinic Foundation in New Orleans.
Registration is encouraged for this Meet & Greet event on May 14. Residents can register at NWHinfo.com/MeetTheDoctors. For more information, call 219-262-6446.
