When to Seek a Second Opinion
It's not uncommon for someone with a cancer diagnosis to seek a second opinion. Another doctor could recommend a different treatment path or provide a new interpretation of your results. We all want what's best for our bodies and asking another doctor to take a look at your diagnosis is a way to help have confidence in the treatment plan. When it comes to cancer, we take a personalized approach. If you'd like a second opinion we can help.

Medical Oncology & Infusion Services
A medical oncologist is a physician who specializes in the treatment of cancer. Your medical oncologist will review your medical history, conduct physical exams and order diagnostic tests to determine your exact diagnosis, including the stage of your cancer.
Cancer Surgery
Surgery is often an effective treatment option for people diagnosed with cancer. Surgery used alone or in combination with radiation or chemotherapy may also be part of the treatment plan.
If your cancer treatment requires surgery, the surgeons at Northwest Medical Group can perform a range of cancer surgeries. Many of the procedures can be performed using minimally invasive techniques in our specially equipped operating rooms, which may offer patients less scarring and a faster recovery.
