Northwest Health Adds Pulmonary and Critical Care Specialist in Valparaiso

Northwest Health is welcoming board-certified pulmonologist Christos Deamont, D.O. Dr. Deamont brings experience in diagnosing and treating acute and chronic lung conditions and caring for hospitalized patients in an intensive care unit. He joined the Northwest Medical Group – Pulmonary & Critical Care office at 813 Porter Campus Drive, Suite GH, in Valparaiso.

Committed to delivering quality and compassionate patient care, Dr. Deamont values a team-based approach and takes time to support both patients and their families. His specialties include treating conditions like pulmonary disorders, respiratory failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, asthma and allergies, pulmonary hypertension, interstitial lung disease and lung cancer.

Dr. Deamont completed his medical education in the College of Osteopathic Medicine at Michigan State University and his residency at Wellmont Health System – Norton Community Hospital in Norton, VA. He recently completed his fellowship at McLaren Oakland Pulmonary/Critical Care in Pontiac, MI.
